Sex, People, and Pornhub Data

                I have never visited “pornhub” nor have I really been interested in mainstream pornography but being that I am an erotic female  artist and model and in many ways riding parallel on the cusp of erotica and porn I did find some data about the site to be fascinating. Apparently “Pornhub” keeps a statistical data on the preferences of their members of either gender and has released some interesting information to say the least. In all honesty I was not shocked but rather intrigued as I had assumed this to be true all along. According to the data, The female watchers of porn are most interested in lesbian porn ( I was not sure if they meant true lesbian porn or just the standard girl on girl action) and then gay male porn. Personally if I was to ever watch porn I would opt for these two options as well especially if the girl on girl porn involved feminine, glamorous but not cheesy siliconed out women. When you think about it the entire thing makes perfect sense.

                In the years that I have been creating erotic imagery and experimenting with my own sense of self in the context of erotica I have noticed that women and men react to very different things when it comes to all things sexual. Men react to most to the ease of availability of women and porn for them is saturated with horny nymphomaniac hotties “willing” to give anyone a turn in the sack. Erotica for women is all intellectual and somewhat emotional, for me personally of course it is all about intellectual arousal aka sapiosexuality. Visually speaking park a hot girl in a library and wearing glasses and I kind of melt.

                So what of the gay porn? Well I have never watched gay porn but I will say this. Gay men in erotica are generally always WAY better looking than straight men. I do not know much about porn but I have seen Ron Jeremy and the idea of that makes me want to throw up a bit. Gay porn is full of youthful, muscular, hairless, sexy men pleasuring each other.  There are large amounts of them, they look great ,they are having a blast and they are doing all sorts of stuff to each other for pleasure and yet while they are great to look at they are not at risk of impregnating anyone with those loaded penises. All those penises and none of them aimed at me.  Truthfully it all makes sense. As a female I love seeing a toned and fabulous male physique getting and giving sexual pleasure but I also know that there is a danger for me from that physique. When the threat is biologically eliminated and even on the subconscious becomes purely pleasure based the entire thing becomes that much more delicious and liberating. Much like anyone else I LOVE seeing really hot people getting sexual pleasure or giving sexual pleasure and when I think of the fact that a certain facet of danger( the reproductive thing) is 100% not present that pleasure suddenly seems so much more delicious.

                Pondering the idea of male female sexual contact I realize that the least erotic and sexually arousing footage or imagery for me is actual straight, genital, sexual contact. For years women have argued that performing oral sex on a man is an act of submission and personally I think that completely depends on the woman and the context. I  have seen imagery of some women doing that particular act and looking like they own the show 100% and the man is rendered utterly powerless. No submission there. To some powerless may be pleasurable but yet it is still powerless. Biologically speaking I think of it the way I think of seeing some spy flick ala James Bond where the hero needs to diffuse the bomb to save the day. Oral sex or other forms of orgasm inducing non genital sex are a defusing of a potential, long lasting, biological bomb and hence they are sexy!! All it is intellectually based in its attractiveness. Diffusing a bomb, either the real bomb or the sexual bomb requires an intellectual mastery that always garners respect and hence diffusing a biological bomb without allowing it to hit its target is also worthy of absolute respect. Laying down on your back in either the explosive or sexual context requires only submission and the acceptance of the inevitable. All things generally depend on the individual and the context but I generally see women and men having genital penetration sex and I view it as a conquest of the female by the male simply based on the idea that the female is risking so much more and hence letting her guard down. I personally do not find imagery of women who are sexually submitting to men to be sexy in the least. My subconscious mind and sense of biological self preservation do not allow for that.

                So this is why the Pornhub data makes sense to me. As a female very much attracted to other feminine females I love seeing girl sex and as a female attracted to nicely toned, defined and good looking men I find the appeal of gay porn to be very attractive and sexy and intriguing. Hot bodies of either gender pleasuring each other for the sake of nothing but pleasure, an experience of absolute beauty and with no thought to potential catastrophic meltdown. Of course I am aware of the threat of STDs and such but those are a possibility and NEVER part of the fantasy while sex is in concept in existence purely due to the process of procreation, eliminating that aspect of it from the stage is divine, liberating and AWESOME!!!
